Well, not exactly. As events have unfolded in the last few weeks, Tek's VND division and AVID have combined some operations, and agreed to go after the news business jointly. Tek will also distribute some AVID products to broadcasters "exclusively" in some areas. Printer and Test Equipment divisions of Tek not involved.
