Yeah, it's a good Coolidge story. I've most often heard it told about a woman at a dinner. Either way, it's good. Actually, some historians think Coolidge was a very good president, that the silent part was a carefully nurtured image because he wasn't a very effective public speaker.

I never much cared for the Know Nothing party, but I sure would join a Do Nothing, or at least Do As Little As Possible party.

I wish politicians would have to take the equivalent of the Hippocratic oath -- first do not harm!
