from a metaphysical standpoint? The word is very imprecise.
Depending upon interpretation it could mean different things to
different people.'

'I.... I don't understand the meaning of the word as you use
it. Would your meaning be absence of light... as in a room with
the blinds drawn? Or do you mean at night?..........'
