Peter Regarding OC-192 and fiber capacity-
<<I know there's no way in hell any of our stuff
could ever accommodate a DWDM for multiple OC-192 (and that's
for ANY distance), cause we can barely accommodate one,
and that's over a relatively short haul>>

This comment is explosive in creating a thought process. For example, does this mean that the installed fiber is inadequate for today's DWDM equipment OR does this mean that this finding makes DWDM an even more compelling business proposition. For example, if a carrier wants more bandwidth, can the carrier get it by increasing the basic speed (i.e. OC-48 to OC-192) or is the carrier "forced" to install
DWDM? Is there a restrictive market or is there a compelling market opportunity for DWDM (and CIENA)?

I really enjoyed reading your post and would like to see any additional comment.
