Tulvio,

represents a threat, certainly, but the best products aren't always the winners as we know. Also, Juniper has yet to prove that the M40 can withstand carrier class stress or that Juniper has the infrastructure to handle the service that the big telcos need. Usually, the big guys will settle for slower machines if they can get reliability and service. Also, vendor loyalty in this industry is hard to break through. I just read an article about how the CEO of Juniper is somewhat dismayed at how hard it is to break into this market. It's hard to get the biggies to switch.

Only time will tell. Perhaps we'll here a Cisco announcement of an acquisition soon. Who knows?
