Dipy - Lying is not a crime; Lying when you have put your hand on the Bible and take an oath "So help me God" is. True, there are shades of perjury that the judiciary responds to in various forms with various punishments.

I admit, "lying about one's personal life" is an interesting position to defend him from, and thus begs the question: "What are the boundaries of a President's personal life?"

Who draws that line for us? Would you suggest the news media?

If we believe in moral relativism, we let the man draw his own lines and defend him from intrusion. If we instead, believe in shared mutual faithfulness to marriage vows, we are offended by the fact that he seems to be able to get away with things that we would not do.

Why is it so hard to believe that there really, truly are good, decent people in this country and that some of them may just not like Mr. Clinton for moral as opposed to political reasons? To people like that, there are fewer shades of grey.

Mr. K.
