<<As such, I want to know as much about his background(almost) as Mr. Starr has revealed about Pres. Clinton>>

Why? There are 20 Republicans and 16 Democrats (or some such split) on the committee. Regardless of who chairs it, the debate is so partisan that the vote would be the same whether Hyde is there or not. What difference does it make what Hyde has done, other than to draw attention away from the President, and make his position look more reasonable. Remember, Hyde doesn't sit in judgement, and is only one vote. The entire House must approve (by a simple majority) the articles, and the Senate sits in judgement. Why hasn't anyone been looking into their backgrounds? Because, of course, the attempt is to derail the hearings before they ever get started. Don't let yourself be manipulated this way. Let the process run its course.

For the record - I disapprove of the video being released to the public. I think the Congress should see it, but I don't think it does anything other than fan the partisan flames to release it to the public. I have gone on record to my Congressman on this issue - have you?
