You misunderstand the point. I never said that LU doesn't have the goods to compete. I did imply that perhaps they don't feel confident about their own ability to compete. That's all I said.

As for the patents. They were present at mulitple forum meetings where standards were agreed upon using technology in-part (perhaps) developed by LU. They new this then and they let it happen. Now, years later, they want to file suit against the companies that are using these "standards". That's like me giving you the best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe around for free...in fact like me giving it to a bunch of people. Then once these people build businesses with it going after them for the money. Cheesy. Furthermore it won't fly in court.
