Thinking of starting a position in MAY Mayne Nickless. Why? The company has 3 components healthcare , transport, and Optus It is selling its transport component. It is spinning off Optus (Optus is telecommunications) This leaves it to concentrate on health If you look at most of its news maynick.com.au you will see this is what it wants to do Also the share price has performed well over the week up 10% in a down market. To some extent you have to ignore the earnings for 1987/1988...in 12 months time it will be a different company What do you think?
