To All:

With Alcatel wining contracts after contracts, it becomes clear that
neither WSTL nor AMTX alone can fight against Alcatel. Are we going to
see a merger between these two competitors? With Amati's technologies
and patents and Westel's marketing talents, a merger would make a
much stronger company. If such a merger occurs, we could see a one-to-one
stock swap between the two companies. Anybody wants to elaborate
further?
