It is quite ironic, Zappa announces the closure of the deal with EMC, which is quite a major development. Yet it is apparently overshadowed by the fact that Cambior didn't hit anything major with holes 26, 27, & 28. In my oppinion it would have been great to hit again on the last 3 holes, but the bigger picture is whether Cambior decides to go ahead with 10-20,000 meters of diamond drilling early next year!

If you look at the map of the Kuroko Deposit in Japan, there are several lenses in that deposit. The lenses are all found with fairly large spacings between them. The laplata region shows several surface outcroppings located several kilometers away from the lense we just completed drilling. Hopefully we just missed the center of the Laplata lense, as there was a small mountain between the holes 27-28, and the last high grade hole 23. The lense is only 10 meters in thickness, and could easily have been missed, as the lense is being found at aproximately 450 meters in depth. If Cambiors drill was even off half a degree angle, this could throw them out 25 to 40 meters down below.

It looks like we might have to sit and be patient for a couple months, untill Cambior sorts out their budget for 1999. I have to admit I'm getting a little impatient with Cambior, but I am gonna wait it out. I couldn't blame anybody for selling right now, as market conditions suck big time!
