Intel's answer to Sharptooth? One possibility for Intel is to embed the Mendocino die into a Slot 1 module with 512K L3 cache. This CPU could be sold for 400, 450 and perhaps 500 MHz and be perhaps one speed grade behind the K6-3, instead of two.
