JR:

Thanks and thank every one who perticipated in this thread.

The number of strong funds (NSF) is an excellent indicator of market health for time frame of several months. If the NSF is very low, the market is sick. If the NSF is very high, the market is probably near
a top.

When NSF drops to 6 or less (do not count gold funds), the market
is very weak. This is a signal for moving 50% to MM fund. When NSF
drops to 3 or less (do not count gold funds), the market is sick. Danger ahead. Move to 100% MM fund.

We don't count gold funds (FSAGX, FDPMX) because these funds often move in the opposit direction of the market.

When NSF reaches 25 or higher, the market is probably near a top. Raise cash in steps.
