<<Anyone like their online brokerage?>>

I currently trading through Trading Direct. Some positives, some negatives, but overall pretty satisfied.

The website itself isn't terribly fast, so if you're a day trader then it's probably not for you. Not much in the way of value-added services either (just Zacks and Second Opinion Weekly).

On the other hand, the service is much better than Suretrade. I haven't had occasion to call them, so I can't speak for that. However, their e-mail system is quite prompt.

I've found that if you e-mail them about something, and then ask about a related topic later, that they'll remember the previous interaction.

Response time is quite fast too. If you sound really urgent and uptight, they'll respond within a half hour. If not, then you can still expect an answer same-day.

One day, I had to wire money to my account for a trade I wanted to make that day. The transfer wasn't showing up on my balance sheet, so I e-mailed them. They responded in ten minutes and said they would check on the wire. Within another ten minutes, I had the funds available, and I made the trade.

Trades are $9.95 for stocks at $20 for options (plus per contract charge of $2 or something).
