Its like the posting on this thread this morning.....Some analyst was bashing BKS because they were choosing to compete in the low-margin online bookselling market....and an AMZN bear was mocking the analyst. Here's a question for the bears..... Who wants to compete with AMZN? Why would they want to? AMZN is ruining the online book and music markets for everybody, and gobbling up market share in the process. The complaints about AMZN losing money are legion on this thread. But every difficulty that AMZN faces is usually even worse for AMZN's competitors. It is the relationships which make it possible for AMZN to raise enough money to weather the next few unprofitable years. People are willing to loan AMZN money and to buy and hold their stock because they think AMZN has enough connections to be a long-term survivor. Best Regards, Tom
