I don't know what you mean by the "transistor company" ETN offers diverse presence in the semiconductor industry: semiconductor.eaton.com semiconductor.eaton.com semiconductor.eaton.com semiconductor.eaton.com semiconductor.eaton.com semiconductor.eaton.com A little history about ETN's semiconductor business: Many years ago ETN bought a company that had just started researching in the semiconductor area. ETN was not interested in that part of the business but they had to buy the whole company. Having no expertise in the semiconductor industry, ETN management left that part of the company alone. Eventually ETN sold the part of the company that it was originally interested in and kept the semiconductor portion because it was making a profit.
