Big, BAAAD news for ASND and COMS!!! Reported in Fortune 9/28 issue, page 278. Could not find link. If not print subscriber, run to newsstand!! Basically, article lists Coca-Cola (symbol KO) as possible Lucent acquisition target. Odds set at 1M to 1. I believe the magazine is currently collecting bets from readers. Great news for ASND and COMS is, in same article, suggestion that LU could buy both. Odds are 3/5 and 3/2 respectively. The combined odds, according to my calculation, are 3/5 + 3/2 = 6/7. Another potential LU target is Cisco! Odds 50 to 1.
