There are two IPOs now that interest me. One is of course INF Infinty but the other is EnterComm or Entertainment Communications. That's the outfit that CBS sold some Boston radios to. I'd be curious how these two are received in the market. Speaking of the market, in this weekend's Barrons they discuss Fox. They indicated that Fox's stock could be selling less than it's worth of maybe 30bill. Oh and this tibbit. Perhaps the NYYanks are for sale ? Well with Fox buying that soccer team, to go along with the baseball team, as I guess a source of programming could CBS too look for a sports team element ? Recall when CBS used to own the NYYanks in the 70s ? Doesn't Disney own a pro teams ?

Can someone help me regarding CBS' P/E. This morning Barrons notes CBS P/E at 28 and the NYTimes indicates CBS' P/E at 25. Now these p/e are I assume past 4 qtrs. But are they using net profits from the past 4 qtrs to determine p/e ? How are they determining p/e ?

Thanks
