Rather than rely on Sell Side analysts, most of whom are whores, prostituting their opinions and names for investment banking fees. (there are occaisional exceptions), why don't you do some real work.
Start with the company's financial statements and read them, if you can. Talk to competitors, industry experts, speak to people who actually do securitizations and get feel for the tenor of the market. Talk to the rumored buyers and analysts who cover such cos as Providian, see if you think they would want to pay up for bunch of shit IO's. Then use common sense instead of believing self-serving statements by greedy, desperate and promotional FP execs. Ignore the paid shills and touts that they employ to post on the message boards.
Then, if you still choose to invest in this dog which Mr. Pink found so putrid He, in His infinite wisdom, had to come up with a new rating T4/F, then go ahead.
But to speculate in a complex situation based on such minimal information demonstrates your intellectual laziness and poor judgment.
Shame on you.
Mr. Pink
(All comments express the opinion of Mr. Pink, a deluded internet character who, according to the company single-handedly destroyed $300MM of shareholder value. How much more mass destruction will this all powerful and evil character cause?) |
