Biocontrol Tech Unit Gets 3 More Glucose Sensor Orders

PITTSBURGH -- Biocontrol Technology Inc.'s (BICO) Diasense unit received three additional orders for the Diasensor 1000 from its European distributor, EuroSurgical Ltd.
In a press release Friday, Biocontrol said sales of the noninvasive glucose sensors now total seven. The devices, priced at $9,000, have been sold in the U.K., Germany and Portugal.
As reported July 2, Biocontrol's Diasensor 1000 received the Conformite Europeene, or CE, Mark approval to market the device in the European Union.
