Asensio speaks always in broad generalities and in innuendo. The problem is that he is sometimes absolutely right but almost always effective in hurting a stock's performance. He tends to single out research-phase companies because it is only with these firms his tactics prove fruitful. Once companies start turning out profits then his arguments become moot. My feeling is that Asensio has probably done his last hatchet piece on Biotime. I think his last issue on the PRN newswire some month's back was his ruse used to buy into his cover. I am not sure of this but that's my bet. If he were dead sure that BTIM was a fraud then he should have kept his mouth shut and increased his position rather than drive the price down where all he could be left with was a good chance to cover.
