in which we talk about religion a lot of the time. Not one, in speaking about the bible and the Christian faith, ever once told me the plan of salvation you mention

Dawah does not mean telling others how to be saved. It means telling others about the religion. Letting others know of the beliefs and tenets of the religion.

I've lived my entire life in the United States and not once have I ever been approached by a missionary. Not once. All the people I interact with from day to day are Christians and all are aware that I'm a Muslim, and yet none of them explains to me the plan of salvation. That must mean that there are no missionaries.

Is that correct logic? Of course. It's flawed, but it's the same type of reasoning you're doing. Other Muslims have an obligation to explain to you what they believe. From what you've said:

They mention the Qu'ran and Muhammed,

they've done their part.

So if I never knew your plan, I would not go to hell? Does anyone go to hell?

Everyone who does not follow God's commandments will be destined for hell. Everyone has a choice of whether or not to follow that path. But no one is born destined to hell. They determine whether they'll enter heaven or hell during their lifetimes.

If you see the difference. In Christianity, you're born destined for hell unless you become "saved.". In Islam, you're born destined for Heaven unless you follow the wrong path.

Peace be unto you,
Norris
