The Egyptian Ambassador to Israel, Muhammad Bassyouni, warns of possible war between the two countries. Speaking at a gathering in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Camp David agreements last night, Bassyouni said that a clash between Israel and the Palestinians could lead to an armed conflict between Israel and Egypt. He did not relate to the Israel Government Press Office's report of yesterday detailing official Egyptian anti-Semitism in the Egyptian press. Israel's Ambassador in Egypt said that current relations between the two countries are about "half" of what is usual between states with diplomatic relations.
