Truthfully, the Provo Palace would be better run by Donny and Marie. If anyone should be targeted, it should be Ron Heinz. Maybe a nice man but does not know how to run a sales organization. He frequently signs off on bonus programs to only deny payment of those plans after the quarter ends. You referred to "current management"... I think it best described as current MISMANAGEMENT. It is familiar to all of us... the lazy manager, the large expense accounts, the bad decisions... nothing is different at Novell. Anyone who accepts a position with kind of arrogance and lack of integrity as Joe Marengi, will always fail. He has done nothing but drive the stake deeper. The most glaring mistake... Ron Heinz as VP of North American sales. This guy is driving all of the great sales people to other opportunities. What remain are mostly good reps, sprinkled with the mediocre. Regional Management is disconnected at best and powerless. As for Marengi traveling to the trenches... remind Red Throat most of the troops would prefer him to be the classic Queen Elizabeth, the figurehead. The fate of the company is in the hands of...let me see... NOBODY. How hard would you work when you know if you best your quota you will not be compensated as agreed. There is a new compensation and bonus program. But I highly doubt it will serve any better than what Novell sales reps have previously experienced. Happy Holidays! The Novell Wife
