If the WEB TV can access the Internet, and can do simple wordprocessing , such as word, excel ...etc ( a 486 will serve the need), then few household will need a very powerful computer. Do you need a powerful computer to do simulation ? Do you need a powerful computer to design the airplan ? I do not think so. Besides , 80% of the average Americans do not know unix, NT, C++, .....etc, except the 80% computer professionals. We need to design a device to serve the needs of those 80% users who use WEB TV to communicate, access the net, and do some simple word processing.
