I am getting tired of this. We should rename this "hype your favourite goofy, mediocre speculative junk". Do you think EPS of .05, .05, .07, etc. qualifies for this thread? Aren't 90-95% of VSE stocks speculative junk? With a thousand great companies out there why would I buy a Vancouver hype stock with ESTIMATED earnings (humbly) for 1997 of .07? Merisel (MSEL) is a multi-billion dollar company whose earnings for 1997 could be .07 for all I know, on billions of dollars of sales, and you can buy MSEL for $1.90. But I digress.

Dan, this is happening because of the title, hot stocks of 1997. I know, we all hype, but some of these just do not qualify. I suggest we change the name to something stodgy like "Variations on O'Neill: Outlook for 1997" to discourage the hype artists who just pick their favorite stocks apparently out of a hat.

Geek,
