And then what; how do you think the matchup in 2000 is going to shake out? How do you see the Republican primaries working? Who do you think might end up getting through the righteousness sieve? How many won't run. George Bush Jr. is talking about not running; how many others will not try either? Who do you think will be left; Jerry Falwell? I predict the the zealots in the Republican Party will end up loving somebody who looks like a jerk to most everyone else because the zealot are zealots and they are what they are; they like what is like themselves and they are nuts as far as the majority of the country is concerned. They can uncover dirt and they can fight dirty, but that can't ever make themselves look appealing; that is the problem. Do you think all of this has made Newt look better? Don't make me laugh. All he has to do is open his mouth and start talking again and everyone will remember why they ran to the Democrats last election. What kind of speaker do we have that he only does well when he follows the advice of not talking; keep your mouth shut and you won't offend everyone? This is the state of the Republican's. The more they talk about what they are for and against, the more they hang themselves. I'll look forward to all the Clinton dirt clearing in time so that everyone can once again be reminded of how offensive much of the Republican message sounds. The Republican's are only doing better because nobody hears them. What a great political party.
