Shilling is not one of my favorites..he has made too many bad calls for me.. Blood in the Streets is another good read but again Davidson is not a favorite either..don't follow his prognostications..he has really blown it in my book big time and haven't seen him ever own up to it.. maybe he has.. After listening to Siglinger(sp) years ago on FNN,I tried to find information on deflation and came up with little..he predicted wayback when that we were headed for deflation..way before the Asian meltdown..he stressed that a structural change was occuring in the USA with the distribution of wealth..I have been watching it ever since.. assuming that if great wealth just flows into the hands of a few,eventually things can implode since the consumer is needed to buy goods..how many hamburgers can gates eat :-) Also it is distressing to see that the people with the huge funds are not the philanthropists of old..(although finally saw that Gates and wife donated 20 million to duke..haven't read anything about Buffett giving away anything but rather just sitting on his 9 billion in cash waiting for another opportunity to continue to be king of hill :-)
