Mark: I'm long-term long Gillette (still have a 1,000 % profit despite the recent free fall) so we start from a point of disagreement but we do agree on Greenberg. His rap of G was "piling on" with zero substantive facts. When asked the "heavy" question -- what does a Mach 3 blade cost? -- he didn't have a clue! He really had done his homework! Kramer also had his say on CNBC about G but, as far as I know, no one mentioned the crucial fact that he's short the stock! G was due a correction but should come back strongly by mid to year end 1999. The 1/00 LEAPS look like attractive calls in here.
