Chief, I was talking to Ian Malone at World Heart a few days ago and he had a few tidbits of information in what has been a quiet period for the stock:

NASDAQ senior listing has been applied for and is 4-6 weeks away. That should be good (IMO) for credibility.

A targeted publication of the Wall Street Journal (I forget the name - Wall Street Report maybe?) is expected to publish an article on World Heart soon.

Road show to the U.S. may be delayed a little until the market settles and there is some further news from the production side.

Work is continuing to engage the interest of U.S. analysts. As you probably know, this is usually tied to future equity issues being handled by those same firms. Ian said a target price for the next equity issue would be $25 U.S. per share. World Heart still has sufficient cash to see them through till the end of 2000.

Major milestone dates are still on target.

I feel, as I think does Ian, that it's probably best to not be wasting a lot of time on announcements right now with the markets so volatile.

Dan
