I also like the 89 dMA of the highs plotted on the 89 dMoving Linear Regression of the closes. When the MLR has been closely tracking just under the MA of the highs, a cross to the upside implies that more than half the time, the price will be above the MA. The price move that causes the crossover usually pulls back a bit before continuation so you have to switch to shorter periods to time the continuation. Using the MA of the highs eliminates whipsaws.
