Fellow WAST Stockholders,

Giving the man a month before inquiring of his plans for OUR company,
I called Mr. Antevy three (3) times last week.

So far I have received the "..he's on an important call.." excuse, the "..oh, he just left for lunch (at 1:00 in the afternoon).." excuse, and (after actually hearing my call directly announced without being put on "hold" first) "...[the all of a sudden]..he's on the phone with (ACME)..." excuse.

I clearly identified myself as a stockholder and left my return phone number twice, but - apparently - I don't seem to rate a response.

The impression at this point is that Mr. Antevy still thinks he's at Waste Management - where perhaps the company is big enough to ignore inquiries from some of their stockholders.

I'm not impressed!

I was a stockholder in WAST before Antevy was even being considered for a position with OUR company. My investment is currently worth about 1/3 of what I paid for it - and I, like you, am tired of the "minimalist answers", "poor performance", and miserably poor policy of when-they-finally-get-around-to-it "say-little news releases" - which mostly announce new debt and "promises" of future income.

I think WAST has a good basic business plan and is making some progress - but, if Management thinks it is going to motor along without answering our phone calls or keeping us clearly informed (while the share price dwindles) the next stockholders meeting can be used to put someone in the COO position whose attitude reflects that of an "employee" of a small growth company; not some bloated officer of a trans-national megalopolis that can ignore its less-than-a-billion-share owners!

I would appreciate it if every WAST stockholder would begin calling Mr. Antevy, and either get some explanations of what is going on and EXACTLY what he is going to do to immediately improve share price; or why not!

This will result in a recognition of the need to respond to ALL stockholder inquiries and, hopefully, some attention to improving the return on the use of OUR MONEY. Or........., it will prove that the current COO may not be the correct candidate for this position at OUR company!

Respectfully,

John M. Hollen, EE
