Tyro,

Albright is completely stripped of any credibility as it relates to conducting negotiations on behalf of Bill Clinton in the foreign relations arena. Imagine her dispatching a message from BC to a foreign leader who could justifiably ask why she should be believed. She was duped by her own president and she refused to resign in protest. Foreign policy under this president will continue to be a total sham.

edit BTW, of course at this point in time we really have no way of knowing that this president hasn't been blackmailed by foreign or domestic agents. I watched a program last week detailing the Kennedys (Both JFK & RFK) private behavior put this country at extreme risk (height of the cold war) and at one point there was speculation that JFK may have been blackmailed into delivering a huge military contract to General Dynamics. Apparently one of the FBI agents that had been assigned to track Judith Campbell Exner by Hoover left the FBI and went to work for you guessed it, General Dynamics. We will probably never know the full extent of peril our nation had to confront as a result of JFK's reckless behavior. bp
