Chilling thoughts. A proliferation of Chinese restaurants across the US, trading inscrutable smiles and liqueurs to small-town mayors and state and local politicians for big-time influence; Dennis Ross, a Jew, allowed to represent the US in dilatory Middle East peace talks; the IMF allowed to funnel billions unchecked to Russian oligarchs and thieves; a crisis in Asia that no one in Washington saw coming; a give-away to China on Japan, Taiwan, India and Tibet. The reason so few worry about blackmail is that we all know that the punk has no shame. In the sixties, John Profumo, Her Majesty's Minister of Defense, had to resign when it was revealed that he had shared a strumpet with a Russian spy.
