David It seems to me that you are arguing that FTEL is currently the best bargain because (1) they have VoIP revenues, and (2) they are fully reporting. I don't know about the first, since I don't follow FTEL, but let's say that is true. The second is not disputable. My question is, if these are both true, why is it that FTEL has declined steadily, and more so than DGIV over this year? The reasons might be that revenues don't matter much in today's market (which I doubt), or that fully reporting is not as big a deal as people think, or something else (dilution? others?). This is an honest question, not meant to be negative on either FTEL or DGIV, because the fact is that both companies are way down. In fact, all VoIP companies are down, and maybe the answer is that investors in this market are not willing to accept risk in any emerging technology, VoIP included. If so, it will matter little in the near term what any of these companies do, unless they do something clearly negative such as losing a contract. |
