Charles: It depends on what you mean by salesman? If you are think that by having the bases covered from VARs to CARs, your right. ggg
Sales Reps / VARs / OEMs / Corporate Reseller's / Factory Reps, it will take them all to compete with what Franklin is up against in the real world. Considering that Franklin just now implemented a (Full pledge VAR-Program), it won't be easy along this narrow path (if they didn't consider all the above).
VARs for the last 2 years have been (assessing DVG's (the one's who have been calling on them) for resale. If Franklin is to play a well diversified position, its gonna take allot more than what we currently have.
No, Franklin might not hire anyone else on the payroll (outside the office), but having mucho-de-reps on a percentage-basis is on their agenda.
Franklin will have sales reps, and plenty of them, scattered strategically throughout the US and abroad.
If you consider the top fifty VARs 204.74.114.74 and plenty more to choose from, the in-house approach is heading out.
I think that sending out a first strike missle-launch will get you the attention you desire, but ground troops will get you the needed sales (up close and personal).
If your xyz company living in Louisville Ky, and have a local sales rep for (blank-dvg-company) would you rather do business with the local branch-dvg-office, or someone who is out of LA? Nuff said!
btw...I heard we cracked an egg in DC!
