I was making the point that the lies Mr. Clinton told were not the same as breaking campaign promises. Vietnam and Iran Contra are, simply put, irrelevant to whether Mr. Clinton needs to be removed. Admittedly, there was probably some wrongdoing in those cases but at least in the case of Iran Contra, it seems to me that your are complaining becuase you did not like the result. Those days are gone. Its too late. The issue before us now is does the criminal behavior with which Mr. Clinton is charged warrant removal from office. IMO, it is clearly impeachable conduct. JLA
