Let's just skip the election part and go right out under the trees and yak yak yak with good food and wine and laughter and maybe a live bluegrass band, and some of you may think,"Ewww.." but if you've never picnicked under the autumn rainbow trees in the Shenandoah Mountains with a bunch of good ol' boys pickin' and fiddlin', then just sit back and be quiet. SOmeone else can be president and I get to be the Song Leader. First thing I'd do is ordain periods of silence. NO MORE MUZAC!!! No more forced listening to the same classical tape while you're on hold with Waterhouse. No more bass boosters in cars. No taped music allowed on the beach or in the parks or in the dentist's office. No playing "It's a Small World" anywhere. (I just got Freddy's vote.)
