As a Libertarian I will agree with that statement. Newt should have resigned from the speaker spot 2 years ago. It has only put the Republicans in a "do nothing mode" since Newt decided to go low key.
Personally I don't care. I'd like to see both the Dems and the Repubs go down. Neither party is willing to go out on a limb and REALLY make the changes that need to be made for the future of this country. They are too concerned about staying in office.

PS. - The above statement is a description of the parties as a whole, there are a few good guys in there, however they are the ones no one sees or hears.
