CBS: NOT GOING TO SHOW IT WITHOUT 'PERSPECTIVE'
There is no brighter media player than Kim Akhtar, the CBS NEWS spokeswoman. With eyes that glitter and a smile that melts Black Rock, Akhtar pressreleases, gives good quote, better than anyone on Broadcast Row. With a personality that belongs in front of the cameras, not behind, she is more than simply an asset for CBS and the news executives she makes shine. But Akhtar, with all her twinkle, has appeared confused and sometimes lost since Lewinsky.

Akhtar tells Monday's NEW YORK TIMES that her network will not be playing Clinton's grand jury testimony unedited for viewers.
Why?
"We won't play this wall-to-wall without any kind of context, perspective and analysis," she tells NYT Mifflin.
After all, voters aren't smart enough to know what they are viewing without that "context, perspective and analysis."
