Liz My last comment on the subject. I see your' point but most of the unrest is directed towards the Chineese and their busnisses who are seen by the Indo's as owning and/or controlling to much wealth.The country is more stable now than it's ever been .Many large Co.'s continue to do bus. there and mining Co.'s like Freeport, Teck and American Barrick have been there for years and pre-date Bre-X.They have never lost properties to Indo. government and have been on record as saying that the C.O.W. system is fair, distributes wealth to the host country in a prescribed fashion and is fair given it gives the Co. basic ownership to do exploration. If you don't do exploration, you loose the property.(we all know that Bre-X never had a proper C.O.W. registered with ministry of mines and they tried to resolve this after their reported discovery)
Spire paperwork is all in order and they have been in this country for 8 yrs..Besides, Indo can't afford any bad press now or they will chase foreign $ out Lot's of Australian Co.'s mine and explor there and the largest gold deposit in the world is in this area jointly owned by Freeport.
Now to questions
If the numbers for Spire are as good as expected in the upcoming drill results,would this not move the stock regardless of the country of origin

If there really is an Indo funk,is the only alternative for Spire to get or reflect true worth is sell the Co. to an interested major.

Your' usual concise and informed opinion would be appreciated.
