I am new to this board and a relatively new MO share holder. (about 2 months at 38) What I say may have been mentioned on this board but my real reasons for buying MO were pretty simple. Having no real legal expertise I just felt that many of the law suits,though having some merit, were basically just alot of gold diggers who knew that smoking was bad for them all along but continued to do so just because they didn't care. I think the courts started to smell this also. Next I felt that it would be a good defensive play in a bear market. Lastly, I felt that the technicals were great and even better now.
