As Ligand already warned (#reply-5501525), cash needed for operations may come at significant dilution to current shareholders. Its dangerous to ignore these warnings as 'boilerplate' and any discussions on them as 'naysaying'(#reply-5521525) (and statements eluding that IR said it won't happen is irresponsible (#reply-5520555, #reply-5526153)). As I commented last month, based on Ligands 10q 'warning' there is a possibility of a secondary or a private placement.
