Powerbook availability

The following has been shameless cribbed from MacCentral. We know that AAPL pulled Powerbook ads when availability was restricted. Resumption of advertising in turn seems to confirm that AAPL will finally be able to put out some good supply.

Apple's Hot News page notes that you can now hear Apple's new PowerBook radio commercials on the Web. Appropriately call "Big Screen Theatre" commercials, the new ads highlight the new PowerBook G3 notebook computers with 14-inch displays. They are airing Sept 17-19 and 24-26 in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Mineapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco/San Jose and Washington, DC.
Apple also notes that radio stations in up to 20 major U.S. cities will offer PowerBook G3 giveaways.
Point your browser to apple.com to hear the commercials.
