Intel Investors, For what its worth, Jubak's picks just eliminated our competition. investor.msn.com The article says in part: The top 15 For this last stage, I eliminated every company from my list with a price-to-book ratio above 2. (The average Standard & Poor's 500 stock has a price-to-book ratio of 4.) That brought the list down to 18 companies. And then, subjectively, I eliminated companies where I thought book value actually overstated the value of their assets. Here I threw out Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Integrated Device Technology (IDTI), and National Semiconductor (NSM) because they operate in a part of the industry glutted with capacity.
