jach, technical analysis usually takes the opposite view of this. The put/call ratio is generally seen as a contrarian indicator since most options expire worthless. I can give you a number of examples where the call volume exceeded put volume and in the end the puts won out.

This is a comment on puts and calls, not necessarily on CSCO itself.
