This statement says, WITHOUT QUESTION, that this filing would be out by the 23rd. The 'may' in the statement modifies the' inquiries from Wall Street'. There is no hedging whatsoever about the time it would be filed.
In April (about 6 months ago, which is a pretty long time), Roger made the mistake of saying that all this stuff was imminent. After an apology and an explaination that these things take longer than expected, I accepted this as an error in judgement that would not be repeated.
So, if all this BS about the filing being returned by the SEC (as is the case most of the time according to Macker), then DGIV should have KNOWN THIS before ever making a public statement about the timing of the release. Also, they have had 6 months to get all their ducks in a row for this exercise and so far it looks like they need even more time. To me this is inexcusable.
With that said, there has been no confirmation that I am aware of that the SB-10 is delayed, so this may be alot of wringing hands over nothing. We'll see. Excuses are not acceptable at this point IMO.
Fundamentals will have changed if they dont do what they say. Who can make an informed decision if they stuff they put out doesnt come to pass. I think everyone here agrees that the most important thing at the moment is to get out of the BB market. If DGIV comes out and says something about how they are trying to persue that why should anyone believe what they say. It could be the same thing all over again. "Oh, well that is what we were hoping but we didnt realize this and that, and now it may take longer." How much of this will everyone here take before you actually start thinking that DGIV may be a great opportunity UNREALIZED. |
