I can't help think how badly this whole "affair" reflects on the US from a global perspective. As the rest of the world grapples with political upheaval, financial uncertainty, human rights issues, etc., I can't help but wonder what they think of this great nations' obsessive preoccupation with tabloid-like scandals.

Personally, I'm embarrassed for the United States. I just hope and pray this crap backfires on the media/special interests that keep force-feeding us this slop. From what I've seen of the tapes today, Bill is starting to look more and more like a sympathetic character, needlessly persecuted for something that, in the end, does nothing to further the interests of the US, both here and abroad.

Enough already!!!
