$42,000,000 were spent on Iran-Contra investigation according to the NBC's reporting several months ago when they interviewed with Larren Walsh (Independent Console of the Iran-Contra affairs). Was that too expensive? Larren Walsh said with a resounding NO! He also said that investigations cost a lot of money. A lot of people needed to be housed, fed and transported. Mr. Walsh said that it is rather cheap to try to defend the Constitution of United States and he said that he didn't think that what Judge Starr spent was too much.

I personally don't think that that $50 mil. spent on investigating Vince Forster's death, Whitewater, travel gate, file gate and Monica Lewinski was too much compared to just one investigation of the Iran-Contra affairs. I know the we haven't gotten the report from Starr on other matters yet but they will be coming. Even proving the President's innocent will definitely worth the price. Remember, that the trips to China and Russia cost tens of millions of dollars and I failed to see any results from those trips.
