YES,I did visit ATCO on fri at 10.00 with two buddys.The first thing I noticed was there large building,which they are moving from next month to a larger building across the street.The offices and staff were professional.As I was signing in I notice Carver and Texas Inst had also signed in for the 10.00 demo.We all went into a room where Norris was standing waiting for the group.There were 18 people sitting waiting for the demo.NORRIS began to talk about how he developed the technology. Some of the info was over our heads,very technical.Norris presents him self very well and is a great speaker.The pres of the co,Robert Putnam was also present.I could tell many in the room were tech engineers and reps from companys.Norris says they are presently talking to 30 companys who are all very interested in the technology.One that sticks in my mind was GENERAL MOTORS which sent Norris a first class ticket and flew him out to demo his technology.He says they are very interested and talks are heating up.He also said many computer companys are also in talks.They told us they will start to lic the technology during the 1st quarter of 97.He said there are companys ready to sign on. Then the demo started,he used a sound source from a radio.As he turned it on and pointed his cookie around the room,we could in fact hear the music.As he pointed the cookie around the room the sound would be louder in that direction.The sound quality was poor because he use a low level prototype with sound coming from a radio.He then told us that afternoon they were recieving there digital prototype which would produce perfect quality sound.The room was excited even by the low end prototype. I was impressed and believed everything he was saying.He invited us back to hear the digital version. We were told that the co has no debt,the mini-radios were selling like hot cakes and this profit was there seed money. We asked how much cash they had and Norris said 1,000,000 dollars.He said they were in great shape going foward with no debt. Norris said someone on the internet has been posting very nagitive things about him saying he was a con man and his technology was fake.He said no one in the co including him has sold stock nor do they plan to.He also said he was in this for the long term and 97 will be a year of lic agreements across many industrys. He came across honest and very bright. As the meeting was ending the lobby was full of another group to have a demo. My buddys and I went outside to discuss the meeting.We all walked away very impressed and believed everything Norris said. The technology does work and there are so many applications for it. I'm not saying the stock is worth 5.00,who knows,but I will buy now and not wait. The technology could be very big,even bigger then we all exspect. With companys like GEN MOTORS,TEXAS INST,UNITED AIRLINES,DELL COMPUTER,CARVER,SONY and APPLE all interested,thats strong credibility. All three of us are going to buy next week.At this point,we agreed that the stock price does not matter at this point if this takes off the way it looks like it will.Norris also said they plan to move to the nasq and off the pink sheets. Overall I was impressed! I do plan to go back next month for a digital demo and I will stay in contact with the co on the phone. I can't tell you to buy the stock but I will tell you I plan to get in during this early stage. As far as those nagitive post from people like MBAKER who said the co has 65,000 in cash,I would not listen to them.It seems they want to get the stock price down so they could get in cheap. good luck gang,I will try to stay on top of this one.============ |
